Sullivan Solar Power is proud to offer “A Sustainable Future Through Solar Energy Scholarship.” $2,000 will be awarded to high school seniors or current college students. Applicants must have at least one parent or grandparent who is an immigrant to the United States and must have plans to use their college education to help create a sustainable future.
Sullivan Solar Power prides itself in Leading the Solar Energy Revolution through installations of solar panels and solar battery systems throughout Southern California including San Diego, Orange County and Riverside. Founder Daniel Sullivan is proud of this and proud of his Irish heritage. As a third-generation American, he knows our Country’s history is built on a foundation of immigration, and that our Country’s future needs to be built on a foundation of renewable energy.

Essay Topic: Sullivan Solar Power believes that every person can make a difference in the quest for a sustainable future, regardless of the field of study. Explain to us how you plan to use your education to help to achieve this goal.
Eligibility: Currently enrolled college students and high school students who will be attending college after graduation. Students must have at least one parent or grandparent who is an immigrant to the United States. Former award recipients are ineligible.
Selection & Notification Process: An internal committee will evaluate the applications and notify the winner by January 31, 2020.
Application Process: Submit an essay between 500 to 1,000 words. Email scholarships@sullivansolarpower.com with the subject “SSP Scholarships” and include an attachment of your essay. Or send a hard copy to our San Diego office:
