Coronado Solar Power: Boomer Residence
For the Coronado solar power project at the Boomer family residence, Sullivan Solar Power installed a 4.5kW system powered by 24 Sanyo modules. An SMA Sunnyboy 5000US inverter and the other solar power equipment was mounted on the tile roof of the residence to maximize exposure to the direct sunlight and the most efficient production of environmentally friendly solar power. Coronado solar power is a sustainable resolution since the sole shoreline community situated on a cape just off the coastline of downtown San Diego collects adequate sunshine to assist a solar power system. Accordingly, this Coronado solar installation allows the Boomer household to appreciate decreased energy costs and recognizing that they are doing their part to diminish detrimental emissions in their picturesque community.
On average, each year a solar energy system this size will:
Generate 6,701 to 8,934 kilowatt hours of clean renewable solar power.
Avoid the creation of 11,078 pounds of harmful carbon dioxide released into our air.
Provide the system owner with $1,965 in Solar Power Savings.
